These boots look and feel like primo quality. For reference, I generally wear size 9 med in regular shoes. Per the shoe measuring gizmo at shoe stores, I am just a fraction over 8/12, but with flat feet, my feet slide forward, so 9. This size in the med fit perfectly. Plenty of room for heavier socks.These are what I have been looking for--the Moto syle, low heel, buckle, good traction. They do have a bit of heft to them, but in a balanced way. The leather across the toe and foot area has rigidity for a structured look. The suede portion on the ankle and above is somewhat softer, but not what I would call flexible. I have fairly thin ankles and calves, so I have room to stuff jeans into them, but my preference is to wear skinny boy friend jeans, not tucked into the boot. The top of the boot does pooch out a little under the jeans, but not ridiculously so. I decided to go with brown as I did not want a "shiny" toe that the black and aubergine ones seemed to have--just a personal preference. Plus, the brown ones were a crazy good deal.They are just a bit of "work" to get your feet in, but pretty typical of any well made boot imho. But they feel comfortable...like they were made for me, once on. LOVE them.Oh, so cool these are! Merry Christmas to me! Highly recommend.
