ASICS Women's GT-1000 3 Running Shoes - Lightweight Cushioned Support for Road Running, Jogging & Gym Workouts

They are NEON and I mean NEON, IN YOUR FACE pink. They are SO VERY MUCH BRIGHTER than I expected them to be. I can't stress this enough, if you eschew bright colors and don't want to stand out, these are NOT the color for you. When I opened the box, I said "oh GOD, no!" However, I decided to give them a shot as they are totally different than anything I have ever worn before in terms of color on the feet, and I have gotten several compliments in the past 2 days on the color. They are sort of growing on me- the color definitely has put a little more 'pep in my step' LOL. They are fun to wear. I can only wear them with thin socks. I am always a size 8, so that is what I ordered. The first time putting them on, I thought they felt too tight. Give them a chance, though because they go on tight but then they feel as though they should- made for your foot. I don't think I would have gone up to an 8 1/2. They DO provide excellent ankle support so that is a great thing and once they are on and you stand up in them and start walking around, they are SOOOOO SO much more comfortable! Again, they felt a bit tight at first, but these are a true running shoe so they are not going to feel like a cross trainer or an UGG (that I've been wearing to survive this past winter!) They were a very fair price and they're really super cute. Nice and light as well. I will also say, and this is BIGGIE for me because I have chronic back pain- my back has not felt this good in YEARS since I started wearing these shoes. I definitely recommend. My first pair of Aasics and they did NOT disappoint! They will not be my last either!
